Darrow Vanderburgh-Wertz just joined the SNBC family in the fall of 2007 as the Safety Network Community Organizer. Darrow comes to SNBC fresh out of college but with experience as a field organizer for the 2004 presidential campaign and as a union organizer for a food service workers union. She hails from Durham, North Carolina, but unfortunately has no Southern accent to show for it. Darrow is excited to be working in the Sunset District and looks forward to engaging with community members to make the neighborhood safer for all.
