Janet Oh
Experience Corps Bay Area Director
Janet Oh joined
the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center as the Experience Corps Field
Coordinator in 2002. After three years of managing field operations
and volunteer trainings in San Francisco and Oakland, she became
the Experience Corps Bay Area Director in May of 2006. Prior to
joining the Beacon, she spent a year in South Korea as a Fulbright
English Teaching Assistant and was a teacher for the Breakthrough
Collaborative (formerly Summerbridge Portland). She attended the
University of California at Berkeley with a major in Sociology and
a minor in Dance. Janet is a proud Sunset resident and enjoys
biking, surfing, and dancing.
