SNBC's Founder and Director is interviewed on Comcast Newsmakers

SNBC's Founder and Director, Michael Funk, was recently invited to appear on Comcast Newsmakers. Comcast Newsmakers is a professionally-produced 5-minute news interview program that can be seen on CNN Headline News in Bay Area communities. The programs feature government and community leaders interviewed by veteran broadcast journalists, and the interviews fit seamlessly into the Headline News rotation.

In this interview, Michael explains the current state of funding for afterschool programs and discusses the importance that afterschool programs play in expanding learning opportunities for youth in safe, engaging, and nurturing environments. Michael also highlights the skills and learning that will be showcased at SNBC's upcoming 6th annual Community Film Festival.

Thank you to Comcast for its partnership and funding support to SNBC.
