Assistant Site Coordinator at Sunset Elementary School
Elijah Chan graduated from Lincoln High School in 2009 and went on to earn his B.S. in Kinesiology at San Francisco State University, with a minor in Health Education. Elijah first became interested in working with youth when he joined a career pathway at Lincoln High School, known as Teacher Academy. In 2014, Elijah joined the SNBC community as a Program Leader at Sunset's After School Learning Program (ASLP). In this role, he has had the opportunity to lead his own class of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders while teaching a culture class exploring different cultures and ethnicities, as well as a cooking club. Most recently, Elijah has become the Assistant Site Coordinator at Sunset's ASLP and is excited to continue growing the program to new heights.
