San Francisco, 94116SNBC's After School Learning Program at Robert Louis Stevenson began in March of 2007, and the 2007-08 school year is its first full year of operation. More than 90 students in grades 2nd through 5th attend the program every day, Monday through Friday, from 2:40 to 5:40. The Robert Louis Stevenson After School Program is excited to offer a fun, safe and educational after school opportunity for students in the Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary community!
Activities
Each day, students participate in a variety of activities, including:
- Working on homework and receiving academic support from qualified teachers
- Engaging in a variety of enrichment activities
- Enrolling in clubs of their choice on Tuesdays and Thursdays, including creative writing, arts and crafts, sports and recreation, and hip-hop dance
- Obtaining literacy support from Streetside Stories, a fun program designed to empower young learners to tell their own stories. Check them out at http://www.streetside.org.
