SNBC's Rec Connect programs are part of the Rec Connect Initiative, a partnership involving the Department of Children, Youth and their Families and non-profits like the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center.
The goal of Rec Connect is to strengthen San Francisco rec centers as lively community hubs with new and improved programs for youth and their families. West Sunset Rec Connect offers exciting classes in technology, arts, and enrichment, all designed with the goal in mind of fostering strong, positive Youth Development.

Students will engage in cooking, arts and crafts, science experiments, literacy building and field trips that foster youth development and keep their brains engaged and active through the summer months.

Film Club is a movie viewing club that opens teens' minds by providing access to timeless movies selected to provide positive character messages. Students will investigate a new film every week through different activities, field trips, art projects and by making movies of their own.

To attend a program you and your child must make the commitment to regularly attend the class and be punctual with arriving and being picked up. Thank you!
