When students arrive at program, they are greeted by their program leaders and begin their day with recess and snack. Next the students make their way to Homework Time, where they receive help with their homework, and then Community Time, where program leaders plan activities that focus on math, literacy, science, art, culture, music, and recreation. On Fridays, students participate in clubs, a monthly themed class where students pick from different hobbies like Ceramics, Knitting, Dance, Sports, Science, or Cooking to learn. We are hoping to help spark potential interests, expose them to new passions, and connect them to their community.

At Ulloa ASLP, we provide many opportunites for our students to explore new extra-curricular activities. Students can choose to participate in a variety of enrichment classes like Gardening, Art, Chess, Hip Hop Dance Team, Marine Science, Math, Literacy, Chinese, Typing, Coding, Boys Sports Team, Girls Sports Team, and Community Service Leadership Team. Our Hip Hop Dance Team has been invited to perform at a few events and our Community Service Leadership Team has been partnering with a local preschool as a big brother and big sister program for the little ones. We are very excited to see students show interest in and look forward to going to these different classes every week.

Twice each school year, Ulloa ASLP holds a Talent Show and Potluck showcasing performances from students as well as our Hip Hop Dance Team and Martial Arts Teams. Towards the end of the school year, we also have a carnival where students of our Community Service Leadership Team help coordinate. Family and Friends are invited to join us for either of these joyous events!
