Summer for Youth – Camp SNBC!
Every summer, the daily learning of 400 kids doesn’t take a break just because school does. We work to prevent summer learning-loss by offering daytime summer programs for Sunset youth. Like our school-year afterschool programs, our summer programs combine hands-on learning with recreational activities. Our elementary program features daily science and literacy classes in addition to recreation and enrichment activities. Our middle school program features a wide range of project-based learning, including SNBC’s Urban Music Program, art, sports, and technology clubs.
SNBC’s free summer programs for elementary and middle school youth are located at A.P. Giannini Middle School. Program runs from June 10 through July 19. Priority for SNBC’s elementary summer program is given to students from Ulloa Elementary, Francis Scott Key Elementary, Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary, and Sunset Elementary. SNBC’s summer program for middle school youth is open to all middle school students. Applications for SNBC’s summer program for incoming 2nd through 5th graders is available to download HERE. Applications for SNBC’s summer program for incoming 6th through 9th graders is available to download HERE. Both forms are available in-person at SNBC’s storefront: 3925 Noriega Street.
