Site Coordinator at Francis Scott Key Elementary
Bel is an alumnus of City College of San Francisco with an Associates of Arts in Early Childhood education. After 2 years at City College, she transferred over to SFSU to earn her Bachelors of Sciences in Family & Consumer Sciences with an emphasis on Child Development. While taking courses at City College and SFSU, she managed to work for an after-school program at Sherman Elementary. There she worked her way up from a program assistant, to a program leader, to the assistant coordinator, and finally to the Site Coordinator. Bel's lifelong goal is to continue to serve youth and their families from different communities. Her ultimate end-goal is to one day create and run a non-profit organization that focuses on providing mental health services to youth and their families; specifically families whome have suffered or have been impacted by abuse.
On a lighter note, she is excited to embark on this new journey with the FSK community and will do it with a milk tea in her hand and a warm welcoming heart!
